What future awaits Ren at the end of his road...? 1075eedd30 Title: Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~Genre: AdventureDeveloper:lightPublisher:views Co., LtdFranchise:lightRelease Date: 2 Jun, 2017 Dies Irae ~Amantes Amentes~ Activation Keygen This Visual Novel (VN for short) is one gigantic super-powered Japanese reference to Friedrich Nietzche's "Übermensch". Seriously just Wikipedia "Übermensch" and skim the absolute madness of it all. Yes, all of that is this VN. All of it.This VN has two extremely strong points. The characters and the battles. Every single character is layered with such an immense amount of depth every time you think you know it all about them another route reveals more. In fact, the antagonists really shine through more so than anyone else because they have such interesting relationships and backstories. Seeing all the characters interact with one another is such a treat. The battles are amazing, while they start out relatively simple in the beginning the feats they achieve near the end of the routes become otherwordly. It takes a special kind of explosive insanity to cause my heart to race and my mental state to be filled with adrenaline. Dies Irae's battles become so monstrous, so ridiculous and powerful by the end that I can only compare it to the final space arc in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. These battles are only heightened by the wonderful soundtrack that really set the tone for all the crazy fights that go on. The sheer amount of hype and power caused me to shed tears! That is not to say that this is a VN without fault. There are some typical anime cliches/tropes, there is an abundance of profanity (so much so that it's a little off-putting), tons of gore and violence which may not sit well with some people, certain characters didn't develop the way I would've liked them to, and some could argue that the VN itself is too long. Reading every route will probably land you anywhere between 80 to 100 hours depending on how much fast you read and if you care about listening to all the voice acting. However despite these faults, I bought this entire game with all of its routes at full price and I believe it was well worth it. This is a story I will remember for a long time. Finally, just to reiterate like many others have already said so, the routes should be done in a certain order, there's a route guide on Steam you can easily find, follow that!. I don't play visual novels too often. Be warned of my review. I have only played 30 minutesPros: The soundstrack is pretty sick The art is really good, it reminds me of those anime like vampire diaryCons: I feel as thought the prolouge is too long. 2 minutes into the game, i figured out that this game is offensive. I think the narrator is reading a certain offensive book that targets a certain group of people that makes excellent livings. I'm not offended, just pointing it out. I am one of those people that this book targets. I like this game because I like anime. So i am willing to tolerate this game. BTW SPOILERS! I am maybe a Jew. played all 5 ends and all 5 extra stories buy both dlcs and play in this order: Kasumi Kei Maie Rea 9.5/10. UNTRANSLATABLE KAMIGE RELATIONSHIP ENDED WITH DIES IRAE.NOW MEMEMASA IS MY NEW UNTRANSLATABLE KAMIGE.. The story so far has been really interesting but the amount of choices offered is lacking for me. I do enjoy this but the lack of choices in this game leave me wanting. I cannot recommend this to someone who doest enjoy reading as much as I do. However, I really find myself enjoying this game but having little time to dive further into ther story.. Dies irae anime doesn't exist. Also, my sadist nazi zombie loli can't be this cute.. Even among massive visual novels, Dies Irae is a Behemoth. Its four vastly different and fast-braching routes, its sprawling convoluted prose culminating in breathtaking action scenes, its diverse and ever lovable cast of heroes and vilains, the five additional side stories included in the full package... They all combine to provide the reader with a uniquely epic reading experience. One should not pay much attention to the historical context or to the literary references, as they are mostly there for aesthetical reasons (do not play this game if you can't stand the almighty "Rule of the cool"). The plot is almost entirely character-driven, and boy is the cast awesome. You won't escape japanese pop-culture clichés, as much in the characters than in the situations, but the game is fully aware of that, and uses it at its advantage. Even so, the plot should not be taken that seriously either, for it is the brief (but intense) confrontations between lovable and masterfully built characters that compose the true meat of the story. These multiple climaxes are served by a flowery and convoluted writing style that turns even the most absurd Shonen-y scenes into epic engagements. The amazing soundtrack brings these clashes one step further (even if the "emotional" or "casual" tracks do not reach the level of their action counterparts). It is also worth noting that the whole story is not too affected by the typical dating sim structure. In terms of production value, things are equally brilliant. The character design and the CG's are gorgeous. The voice acting is by far the best I've experienced on any VN out there, and the sound design is on point.Still, this visual novel is not for everyone. Despite its looks, it has little to see with an extended anime or a coloured musical manga : the descriptions are lengthy, and the plot more than tends to drag. As explained before, one should not expect mindblowing twists, tearjerking emotional moments, or a revolutionary plot. The game lives by and for its cast, making it a blessing for fans of character-driven drama, a drag for the others. At the end of the day though, I still spent 100 great hours on this game. All in all, Dies Irae definitely proves that the VN medium can bring a lot to a genre (action/shonen/chuuni) monopolized by manga and anime.9.5/10. I can garantee Dies Irae is one of THE BESTS Visual Novels I've ever played. A work about the mystery of the unknown.A work about the fairness of the mundane.A work about love.A work about desire.A work about the appreciation of life and happiness... featuring super nazis and opera.Dies Irae is indeed an special kind of work. It is a really passional novel, indeed, but it is also one which doesn't even try to surprise you anytime. It is quite predictable, really cliché and most of its storyline is basic at best. Yet, it not only embraces its own nature to tell an story which divagues to you really directly about a themes like the originality of fiction or the beauty of the moment, it also exceeds at art, music, narrative and characters.G-Yusuke is a really good artist. He makes appealing character designs not only cool, also quite on the ground. His compositions are fantastic and the way he gives live throught his colours is fantastic. Every design he makes feels alive, and distintive. Also, he is a man of many faces, since he knows perfectly how to change his style according to the work. He's ome of the best ilustrators on the VN scene.Keishi Yonao is a genious. Dies Irae isn't even his most impressive work, but he made there a memorable soundtrack full of metal remixes of classic music (like Salieri's and Mozart's Dies Irae, or Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries), which fits perfectly the urban fantasy of the novel in the action scenes. Ominous music for special scenes is also present and the emotive tracks are as good too. And the author, Takeshi Masada, is an excellent narrator and a great character writer. The characters are almost every one of them amazing (except Marie), being borne by love in myriad of different ways, and the text is like a magic grimoire whose power is to stop the time, conveying in a way it feels satisfying to read despite Masada's complex style. I'm speechless trying to explain how great feels to read Dies Irae and how much great are its characters are (obviously I have my favourite characters, but even if MERCURIUS is my god I'd love to write rivers of ink about them).I have to say the translation is as amazing as the original text, the translation team did an absolutely amazing work, so they deserve my praisal too.So... read Dies Irae. You won't regret it as long as you don't dislike action Visual Novels. Deathdays End The highly anticipated release (I think): Game's finally out.
